I need a quick answer..thinking about going down to the exhaust shop soon

I need a quick answer..thinking about going down to the exhaust shop soon

thinking about getting my two pre cats "gutted"

I have 4 cats on my truck 2 pre and 2 cats. So I want my 2 pre cats gone so I can get some more sound. Good idea?

Yeah it's a good idea to get more sound, but unless you know someone there pretty well, I highly doubt an exhaust shop is going to do that for you since it's illegal.

I talked to my exhaust shop before. They said they'd do it if I pay cash no receipt.

how long do you think it would take?

Probably not very long, are they actually "gutting" them or taking them out all together?

gutting them...so they are still there physically just nothing inside but a hallow passage way.

yea i had that done to my 2 rears so i still had "cats" on there but i actually had none, it actually takes longer than you think, well if its dont right that is, my guy took his time and welded the pipe on there and welded that converter back on there so it looked like it hadnt been touched
