difference in sound??

Got a question? I myself have si/do Dynamax with 3 1/2 in rolled tips on I believe 2 1/4 in exhause pipe from the muffler back.

Question is what is the exhaust tone difference between dumping it in front of the axle and putting tips on it and running it out the back or behind the rear wheels?

Thinking about dumping it next time, if anybody has their dumped exhaust pictures, I would sure like to see it!!

Thanks fella's

well, if you dump it in front of the axle then you will have alot of cab drone, and it will be louder, but with no tone, if you dump it behind the axle with tips, it will take out some in cab drone and give your exhaust more sound, more tone

Yea I was thinkink about how much drone there would be..I had a 5.0 89 LX Mustang and the flowmasters gave it alot of drone, just was wanting to know about the sound difference..Im probably gonna turn the tips to the side, I've always had them out the back..Time to be alittle different this time

A little less metallic sounding without the tips ( good or bad, thats up to you, I personally love it ) and a hint louder outside.
