99 4.2 V6 exhaust??

I just recently purchased a 1998 f150. it has a 4.2 v6 with a magnaflow muffler on it single in /dual out. it sounds ok but, is it possible to sound any louder and deeper than it is now? If so, what should i do?

thank you for your suggestions

louder yes, but the louder you make a v6 the worse its gonna start sounding most of the time,

you can make it deeper at idle and driving slowly but then when your on it its gonna get alittle high pitched.

I have a 4.2v6 i just put a cherry Bomb glasspack on my truck for fun. It sounds amazing at idle. (not sure how it sounds when i get on it since my tires are loud as hell)

My buddy loves the sound, and he has an 8.1 Chevy that sounds amazing

I put a CB vortex SIDO cat back, which is a chambered muffler and hiflow cats, and I love it at idle and anything under 3k rpms, but once you get above that it does get a bit raspy.

A chambered muffler or glasspack will make it louder, but it wont get any deeper toned than Magnaflow.
