Who sucks more

What are the CFM's for everyones cold air intakes Banks says 500 cfm over Fords stock 306 cfm

I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't matter what volume can be sucked in, if you can't mix it with properly with fuel. Plus, you need an exhaust to expell it.

Who sucks more

I should hopefully have my complete Banks Powerpack today, Courier called yesterday so I;m hoping. Headers ,exhaust ,intake and programmer Just would like to know what other intakes do in comparison, Thanks

lets hope that if you have a 3 valve engine that you got a cutom tune if not bye bye motor

You gotta love free trade $342.86 fri*@%n duty! Kit will be here Monday! I'm going to go for a drive from Vavenby to Valemount befor I install kit to get a base line going to stick to 100 km's 2 hours each way strictly highway then I'll do the same trip after. Anyone wanna guess what my milage will be?

The stock exhaust is actually fine for a tuner/CAI application. Yes, a free-flowing muffler like a Borla would help a little bit, but negligible gains. Your chambered flowmaster surely isn't expelling exhaust any better than the stocker.

-5 Degrees C 100kph on cruse 19.35 mpg still waiting for my kit to arrive! maybe today

According to s+bs cfm calculater the 5.4 only requires 381 cfm at 5000 rpm so anything over that really doesnt matter.

I thought a motor was like an air pump the more air you can get through it the more power it can make,with the proper tune of course. If it only requires 381 and the Banks flows 500 through the 5.4
My Banks Powerpack arrived to day, it will be installed on Friday,finnaly!!

You can only stuff so much air through that 3.5in hole.
