Pacesetter LTs on 4.6

How much hp and tq should i expect to gain with Pacesetter Long tube headers on my '05 4.6? i have been hearing in the range of 30 hp and 35ft/lb. does this sound right?

You might want to call Pacesetter to see if they've released those headers. I called a few months ago and they said 2-3 more months.

I just finished looking the gains up for GT owners, and they say that if you keep the stock exhaust, you'll see around 7-10 with LT's. If you have an intake, a tune, and true duals with free flowing mufflers (or none), then they'll net you around 15-20. They are really meant for aggressively modified engine with forced induction and sometimes with nitrous. You might want to invest in gears before LT's.

with a supercharged 5.4L, you might see those gains at the wheels. In your application, 10-20hp would be more realistic.

Are you planning on getting them?

Right now i have the the ROUSH off road exhaust (so not true dual, i'd rather keep my torque) and i guess with the pacesetters i would need a y pipe and high flow cats.

Hell, if i get 15-20 more rwhp for $400, i'll be happy.

O, and what about torque increase guys? this is mainly what im looking for. more of a neck snap... lol. 4.6 punisher: the 4.10s are in the works too

1 3/4'' tubing is too large for a 4.6. You need 1 5/8'' for the headers. What size are your tires?

knowing people who know people.

ok, so apparently paceseter is the only option for LT's for the 4.6. hearing many bad reviews and rumors about paceseter i might not go this way. thinking about shorties(if it's worth it). what are some short tube options for the '04 - '05 4.6? i know they dont produce as many gains as LT's, but they must do something... right? lol. i know they produce more noise and supposedly more hp and tq. about how much power are we talking about? keep in mind i will be running the gotts intake
