down here in Georgia emissions is not a problem yet

lol yes. I live just outside the emissions requirement zone in GA, so I deleted my rear cats. But now, my fronts have developed a squeak/vibration for about 10-20 seconds or so on cold starts.

Inspect the shields. A clamp may have loosened.

Is there any noticable hp differance by cutting the rear cats off and installing an x-pipe? Just woundering cause I am thinking about doing it to mine is all or is just to make the truck louder?

Removing the rears helps with minor performance, and loudening it up. X pipe is for true duals to cross flow to create the perfect scavenging.

K thanks Darren I believe mine will be common off soon gotta redo my exhaust due to lowering my truck anyways

does this set a cel on a 01 with a 5.4 cause i have been wanting to do it for a while since i started with a super 44 then that wasnt loud enough then went to straights and i would still like it louder
