Exclamation How much nitrous?

Does anyone knows how much nitrous a stock 2000 5.4 (2v) F-150 could handle without causing damage to the engine?

you could safely spray a 200+ shot of nitrous with a decent tune to support it. You could run a 5 shot on the stock tune if you would like.

Why are you wanting to put your truck on spray?

Please don't believe you can run a 200 shot without doing any damage!
You can run it with a tune and it wont blow up,,,not right away. But it is doing damage! And will significantly shorten the life of your motor!
I wouldn't go over a 50 shot on a stock truck.

phil I see that you use a 100 shot of nitrous in your truck, what moods do you had to do in order to use the 100 shot. Another thing Its a wet or dry system?
Thanks

I can read, I know what the truck has. I mean that if he had to put forged pistons or get a custom tune things like that.

(Built) Lightning block!
That means forged crank, rods and pistons. Plus custom tuning
Witch is a tune with a lot less timing and I run a wet kit.
I would not recommend a dry kit for any application!

yes I agree with you but there isn't a lot of difference between the 200 shot and throwing say 9psi through a blower on one of these motors.

a 200 hp kick is a huge hit, i dont think 9psi over NA will get you 200 extra hp. Most nitrous systems are rated at power to the tires as well. And with the N2O your gonna get alot more torque

If your going to spray it.. Id start with a 50 shot at first & go from there... You should have a wideband so you can moniter it...RPM window switch... & ignition retard box ... Wet kit ... Once you have it up & running & your sure theres no problems then you can give it more juice...
