Just keep in mind if you are looking for loud this is close to half the level of a 40 series. My Brother inlaw went with a 40 series on his 08 F150 and side by side you can not hear mine over his (he is now wishing he went with the same muffler I did)

This is my daily driver so I think its middle of the range. As long as its not as quiet or quieter then stock. I have a 71 390 with 40's dumped on the race truck, which will be going in a 68 mustang.

Just priced them out at the local pro shop. $420 for the kit which is an awesome price cdn + shipping. So the quality looks reliable on this kit? I should decide soon. The length modification shouldn't be an issue since its going on a reg. cab.

I dont think you can go wrong for the price. I think the level of sound is just right for an every day driver. Definitely louder than stock and when your in the gas you hear it for sure but at a nice steady cruise its hardly noticeable. You will still be able to hear bass in your stereo while cruising.

The kit looks solid judging my your photo. thanks btw.

any reason for going straight out the back as opposed to sides? Personally I think the sides look better.

It is a solid kit, you wont be disappointed. I agree, side exits do look better but I did not see a side exit option so I went with this.
