in the long run ive noticed flowmasters will pop/crackle/back fire the most when theyre new, and it slowly wears off in time somewhat. it will always do it some.

My old original 40 on a cold, if you reved it up. Oh baby would it pop and cackle.

The pop will remain because its a pressure point of the exhaust broken once it hits the open interior of the muffler.

If you start it on a cold day dont be surprized if the pop comes back, strictly natural.
