I had to retighten the front clamp today. As I was riding around the last few days, a rattle developed and progressively got worse. I might not have got it enough when I installed it. The I'd of the new pipe is a little to big to match the OD of the stock pipe. Still like the system as a quick bolt on kit. The wife hasn't said a word about the increased tone so it must be good.

My wife hasn't complained either about mine. That tells me that mine isn't loud enough.

Or maybe call MBRP and see if they will sell you a set of clamps...

Well I was able to get mine on.
Few phone calls to MBRP and some pictures, 2 of us working on it and half a day and I still cant get it to hang correctly.
Passenger side looks straight across from the rear... but looking at side of the truck the tip comes out about in the center of where the bumper and body are separate.
Drivers side the Tip is closer to the rear wheel but looking at the rear of the truck the pipe looks more on a downward slope.

Any suggestions....

You can't pull one out or the other in anymore I take it. This is exactly why I went SI/SO. It is a front to rear diff right not side to side? Maybe push the muffler to the front and then move the driver side pipe back. The tips should exit with the rear side of the tip even with the end of the bed right before that space your talking about.

Well the thing is I was also measuring off the tire on either side before I put the tips on and before I tightened the pipes down.
9-1/4 from tire 305/55/20, and 16-1/4 from pavement to bottom of pipe exit.
Either side was off by only 1/8 from tire to pipe and about a half inch from the pavement which I figure is probably off anyway.
Put the tips on and looking at the sides of the truck one sits back and one sits forward of the mentioned space between bumper and body. Not to mention looking at rear they are off.
Its a not level from the rear, not spaced evenly from tire to pipe..... issue.

If the tips are even, the actual pipes might be bent differntly. Same ending for them, just differnt routes and it looks off because of that? **re-read your post. Seems like there is some manipulating that needs to be done. It is hard to guess online.

I just ordered my system today and it's being delivered this Friday. It's a xp series dual split rear exit and from what I've read, the hardest part is getting out the stock junker. Do you need any special tools to install one of these things, or do you just need simple hand tools? And do you need to raise the truck any in order to get the old system out and put the new one in, or can you just leave it on all 4 tires? Thanks.

I did mine with a few sockets and on jack stands. Take the hangers off with the stocker then reinstall them and oil the donuts when installing the MBRP. The stocker came off in one piece, just slide it towards the front, twist and viola!! Good luck!!!!

Just hand tools. I had to jack up the front end to be able to slide the system out though. Its a fairly easy install, my stock clamp bolts were rusted pretty bad though so instead of fighting with them I just cut them off.
