i almost went split then just went single side. you shouldnt have much trouble. getting them level can be a pain but thet is out of your hands for the most part. sometimes it is easier to take the whole hanger down, take off the donut, put the hanger back on and then hang the new exhaust. just 10 mm bolts anyway. super simple.

I'm the same as Mixedbreed...I got the SISO version. I love it and it was easy to install. I still love the sound a year later!

I don't have one, but I would make sure you position the tips slightly (If they are adjustable) coming out from the body, just to make sure that there is no drone.

I have the SI/SO and is was simple to install. You shouldn't have any problem. It is a pain getting the stock VW sized muffler out of there though.

I've got the SIDO Split rear and it was easy to install. One tip hangs lower than the other one though. Gotta get that fixed. Pain in the butt to remove the stock exhaust though. I suggest hooking a ratchet strap to the hitch and to the hanger that is attached to the stock muffler and ratcheting it down to get it to come loose.

You might want to do a rough assembly on the ground to make sure all of the pipes are correct before you take the stock exhaust off. I was sent the wrong piece of tail pipe on the passenger side and didn't realize it until I had all but the bad pipe on. I'm sure mine was an isolated incident but it's much better to figure it out beforehand than after.

I've got the SISO sitting in my living room in the box. I might put it on this weekend. I really wanted to put exhaust, cold air intake and tuner on all at once to get the full effect, but the custom tunes won't be ready for a couple months. I was originally going to have a muffler shop install and weld it, but when I took it out of the box it just looked too easy not to do myself. Mine is the XP series and came with the good band clamps. Just hope it's not too loud.

Good point, I never thought of that. I would be PISSED if that happened to me.

Samantha,
Did you ever get your exhaust in and installed? If so opinions and pictures would be nice.

Since we have the same one I'll give my opinion. I freakin love it, perfect amount of sound IMO. Not super loud but nice and deep, driving around town its enough so that you can hear it with the window down but its not enough noise to bother you. With the windows up you can't even hear it unless your accelerating it. The left rear hanger was kind of a pain to install but once I found some pics on here it was a breeze. Its a great kit, I got the XP kit which comes with all stainless pipe and band clamps for all the connections. Here's a few pictures, I need to get more.

Sweet....Where did you end up getting it from?
Also have you noticed the pipe hitting the axle at all.
Good pictures. Have you got some more on how the drivers side pipe runs..Wondered how the drivers side pipe would get routed.
Saw a picture once of the pipe coming down just in back of the rear diff cover
thought that as a odd place to run a pipe but it doesnt look like the mbrp does that.
Do you get a lot of popping from the exhaust?
