No cats and a Flowmaster not insanely loud at WOT? What exact muffler is it? Flowmaster with no cats is very loud and attention grabbing, at least in my opinion.

it is a super 40 muffler, when im about 3500 rpm its loud but seems to quiet down a bit. I had a 95 f150 with true duals and twister mufflers and that was really dam loud.

Well that makes some more sense. The Super 40 is deeper sounding than it is aggressive, where the 40 is louder, and the Super 44 is a well designed combination of both.

I believe you, Twisters are very loud.

Just the other day I gutted the cats on my 06. Ive got a super 40 si/do, and I love the sound, at high RPMs the sound dose kind of drop off.
