As you can see mine are angled right back towards the wheel. I haven't seen anything undue on them yet. Just normal road/slight brake dusting. Go for it, the sound is amazing. I used a magnaflow 18in SIDO muffler, and the sound is perfect. You have to be carefull running them that close to the cab, with the wrong muffler or setup it would be way too loud.

Then again you might like loud.

heres my 3" single side exit. sorry about the last pic. the tip is usually blinding shiny. i was skeptical about doing the side exit bc of the reason you stated in your OP, but if done correctly it looks and sounds badass!

What do you mean if 'done right'?

Did you have the muffler mounted as far back as possbile? That way its not AS loud in the cab??? Thats what I'm thinking of having them do.

I ordered my muffler tonight, still can't find a tip that I like so not sure on that. Maybe they will have one at the shop that will work for me. Getting it done July 3rd I hope...Any more info/tips will be appreceated!

Thanks

Sorry for the thread hyjack OP. But figure the info is relevant to your application too.
