I think an h is, gives it more of that mustang gargle, but an x technically balances better. Personally I'd get the X, but the difference is so small it's up to you.

Mine are 2.25 inlet 14 inch long 4 inch round bodies. I don't know if I'd do the California turndowns because the sound is being directed down instead of out.

Definitely an H-pipe. The only draw back is that it doesn't perform as well as the X-pipe.

Yep, that's one reason why I had them out the back again. There's never any road grime or water spots unless it's like flooding.

Oh it's loud in the cab. Way louder than the 40 I had, especially around the 1800 RPM area. Even when you are just accelerating like normal, it sounds like you're really getting on it.

I've also noticed a coincidence with my exhaust and this video.

Right now, my truck sounds comparable to the first part of this video, but the bigger tips makes it deeper. Hopefully with hi-flow cats, it will sound really close to the second part of the video, which would achieve my goal.

$150 for a true dual fabbed system? VERY NICE! That probably the lowest i have seen the price for sch a system. Did you keep your tailpipes you had already? My exhaust which is very similar to yours ( aluminized piping, smooth bent, true dual ) was $230 fabbed and installed. The price of 2.25" piping must help with the cost a little, I sometimes wish I went with 2.25".

Everything was all new piping. The owner was just a cool guy, and that's how he gets all his business, best deal is several counties.

so where is the video of it now???

He is the shop on the right as your bout to go into the little town of Bowdon? I think that is the guy that did my exhaust on my '84 but it was several years ago, and I cant remember the name. I know this place was really cheap also.
