Even modified mustangs with X pipes still sound better. ScreaminCobra for example, who has the most incredible sounding Mustang ever.

As usual, beat me to it.

Would you really want your truck to sound like a car? Not I.

No i dont want it to sound like a car, i will NEVER get that V8 sound unless i drop one in. I was just wondering.

4.6 -- I wish you the best of luck, cause it WILL NOT sound anything like a Mustang.

The block and heads are EXACTLY the same. A long with the bottom ends. The only difference is the Manifolds on both motors. Cams, Heads, and bottom ends are all exactly the same whether it be a mustang, f150, crown vic etc.

bingo, the truck's intake manifold is long runner for low end torque, and the mustang has short runners for high end performance.

I dont think ive ever seen factory mustang exhaust manifolds but im sure they vary from their truck cousins
