WWW.PERFORMANCEPEDDLER.COM offer code is???

Now that I've listened to a ton of youtube videos, I'm waffling over the Magnaflow 13256 18 inch or the 12586 22 inch. Both are 2.5" offset/center si/so, of which I just plan on cutting out the stock muffler and installing one of these. www.performancepeddler.com price is 53.13 for the 18 inch and 90.71 for the 22 inch. It seems like a considerable difference; not sure why why. Maybe the 18's sell more???

I've seen an "offer code" for further discounts somewhere on this exhaust forum, but can't seem to find it. Does anyone have any insight?

This will be installed on a 2006 5.4 SC and am looking for a pretty mellow sound unless my foot is in it. The stock one is huge, as you all know and sounds as silent as a car, so am looking for something with a little sound that will give a little better sound and MPG if possible, without having to get a programmer, and many of you have said that these 3V motors don't like a CAI with exhaust without being programmed.

the 22" is more money because its longer, more stainless steel. i would go with 18". the 22" is really weak, unless you have an intake to go with it.

I dont think a 14 would be too loud in a SI/SO with all 4 stock cats. you gotta remember ive only got two, and they are high flows.

you wont get much of a discount unless the order the is over $150 with the amount of the muffler that you want you'll get about 3-5 bucks off. Some of their products allow you to put in an offer of the amount that you would pay for the product and they will email you back with a response. I believe the current discount code is "ebay4p"

the discount code is bestoffer4em. and with 4 cats, the 14" si/so sounds great(can sneak places, but when you hammer it, you know its there), after i put my lt's and high flows on, it was just rediculously loud. imho, i dont think you will notice much of anything with a 22 incher, and still not much with an 18" muffler.

Go to performancepeddler.com and use the code clubgp and you'll get a great discount. Best price on Magnaflow mufflers out there.

You might want to consider buying elsewhere. PP has a rep of not honoring the warr.

There is a thread in the 04-08 section where someone bought a magnaflow kit from PP, had a hanger break off, and now they will not warr it. I had the exact same thing happen to mine, I went thru the same steps he did, called magnaflow, they told me I had to make my warr claim thru the retailer, took pics, sent to retailer, and now I have a new maggie cat back.

The retailer I bought mine from is Troyer Performance, who is a site sponsor BTW, and troyer will match any legit price on maggie products w/ or w/o coupon.

the thread from the 04-08 forum, members name is bridge, he is the last post on page 2

for the price I got my stuff for, i could care less if they honor the warranty or not to be honest. Not to mention when I ordered by phone to get a price match on the cats, the guy beat the competitor by 10% plus gave me free shipping.

There is nothing wrong with that, if you don't care about warranty, then by all means go for the cheapest price.

But when someone sells a product cheaper than anyone else and will pricematch plus 10% they useually make it up elsewhere, such as customer service, particually after the sale.

So now I'm all ears again! Anyone have any stock systems with an 11, 14, and 18 inch si/so? And I agree, if I'm spending $50, the hanger is not my worry. If I spent hundreds of dollars on an entire system, I'd want a guarantee someone stands behind. From what I'm hearing, the 22 inch is a "why bother" and the 18" is barely audible as well even under hard acceleration. I've been finding a lot of youtube stuff, but it's mostly dual out and/or hiflow cats.
