Next Steps...

I just installed my leveling kit and my truck is feeling really sluggish now, so i wanna go ahead with some engine mods before i do anything else. I have a flow master exhaust system, and throttle body space (WORST INVESTMENT OF MY LIFE), and thats it...

which direction would you guys go next? Intake? Chip? Straight Pipes? Super Charger??? Thanks!

Get a programmer. See the Chips, Tuners & Programming forum. https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...rogramming-34/

wat is ur budget? i would definately get a tuner and CAI. if u have more to spend, think about longtube headers, high flow cats, and a bigger throttle body. and if u really have a big wallet, put a supercharger on it.

$1000 eh. You would be able to get a true dual exhaust with long tube headers, a programmer, and the Gotts Intake. All this depends on shop labor costs. Or you could regear for around $1000.

Well you never said they would have to be expensive LT's. Pacesetter's are high quality in my book.

Regear. There wouldn't even be a doubt in my mind if I had $1000 to play with.

I would definitely suggest the programmer, un-leash the power within the OEM tune!

To add to the level comments, I also am confused, when I got mine leveled it just felt more heavy duty, not sluggish at all. Did you get an alignment right afterwards? You are supposed to after any front end suspension modification, that could be the reason it feels sluggish if you never did.

Yes i did get it realigned after the leveling kit was put on and i mean it kinda does make since being that the tires are a lot heavier now, but it just feels super slow for some reason like i have to step on it to get it up towards 4k rpm's

and I would love to do headers, there just soooo expensive i got quoted 600 alone just for install, I just want some more horse power asap headers would also give it a deeper sound though right???

I do have the Flowmaster 45 series on there with the 2.50 pipes, sounds great dumped right over the axle so if possible i would like to keep that cause i love it. But im open to pretty much anything.....
