LT headers w/ Cherrybomb??

My current exhaust setup is as follows: Stock headers, stock cats into a 3" into my SI/DO Cherrybomb Extreme then dualed straight out the back. My question is if I purchase the Dynatech full header and cat system will it increase the deepness of my tone or will it make sound raw and like crap?

( and for all yall wondering why I have a cherrybomb its because it was cheap and I like the low rumble lol)

Well louder and deeper is what I'm looking for here in Texas cops could care less how loud your truck is. My buddy in a '01 F-150 got pulled over for runnin straight headers because the cop wanted to hear how loud is truck really was and what he had done to it then he threw out his dip and told us to have a nice day

It will sound more raspy and more straight pipes, sorta like a Chevy. The Extreme may need replaced overtime because I doubt it will hold up superiorly to the LTs and no cats.

If I were to replace it with something what would you suggest so that I would be able to keep a nice quality sound but still be loud? I prefer a nice rumble at low RPM's. I don't wanna have to wait to hear at WOT

Well thats impossible, with LTs and no cats it will roar inside very loudly under WOT. A Stainless Flowmaster 40 would probably due the trick for you.

I don't mind having it roar at WOT. I might look into the Flowmaster once I get it all done and figure out what sound I like

i have an 02 and i was the same way i wanted my truck to have that really loud deep sound. so i put on the cherry bomb extreme and still wasnt loud enough. so i did the lt headers, and after i put them on the first place i drove was to the muffler shop, becasue the sound is stupid loud! and even with the magna flow muffler i have now the truck is still one of the loudest around, but its more of a drivable loud. instead of just annoying to drive.

i have lt pacesetters and high flow magnaflow cats into a 3" y pipe and dumped right after that no muffler sounds amazing and very very loud gets everyones attention but i like it, where its dumped right after the cat is a flange so i can bolt up my 14" magnaflow straight through muffler for road trips

put a flowmaster delta force race series muffler its pretty much the same design as the cherry bomb extreme but better designed and has alot more respect than the cherry bomb when u tell sum1 wat muffler u have. even then all the magnaflow lovers will tell u that your muffler is crap or to put a real muffler on

man i hate my magnaflow, i was just like you hated all the people who think their maganflows were the best thing since sliced bread, but i got a hell of a deal on mine, cats are ok but hate the muffler, its supposedly the loudest muffler but its too quiet and i dont like the sound

i think it would sound awesome.....lt's with high flows really loudens the exhaust on these trucks up. mine was rediculously loud with my obx lt's with high flows and a 14" maggie si/so, and still pretty loud now with an 18" si/do, but i toned it down enough for me. i really like the way the cherrybomb extremes sound, but livin in iowa i need ss exhaust(and i like the magnaflow sound too....). i say just keep the setup you have now with the lt's.....and if its too loud, put a bigger exreme on there to keep the one and go down a little on the volume! im sure it will sound pretty badass!
