Brilliant man! Cut the cats off yourself when ever the hi-flows arrive, then tell the exhaust guy that your cats were cut out by some hoodlums at the mall. Tell him that the hi-flows are OEM and he should have no problem welding them in, brilliant!

The cheapest and easy way to get more sound out of your system would be to remove 2 cats. It'll make your truck "twice as loud" and give it a more aggressive rumble. Remove the two rearward cats and clamp in some pipe yourself. It's a very easy job. If you change your own oil, you can do it.

You have the 4 stock cats in place? You don't what loud is... LOL! Our trucks are quite, especially the 4 cat system, no matter what muffler you run.

SLPs will be close to straights, but if you are happy with your mufflers sound and they aren't rusted out just change out your converters with hi-flow converters.
I recall a story from last summer about a guy with an '06, his warranty was expired and he was at 70k miles and they still would not change his cats, so he left, came back and sawzalled them out in the parking lot, and then they had no choice but to accept his business because by l;aw they couldn't let a vehicle from their property leave with no cats, and it worked
