I recall a story from last summer about a guy with an '06, his warranty was expired and he was at 70k miles and they still would not change his cats, so he left, came back and sawzalled them out in the parking lot, and then they had no choice but to accept his business because by l;aw they couldn't let a vehicle from their property leave with no cats, and it worked
this weekend ill be cutting out the two rear cats and clamping pipe in place. im trying to avoid spending money on highflows, hopin that gettin rid of 2 cats that are about 16 inches long will give me enough sound. Isn't the pipe diameter 3'' where my cats are?

Correct. Make sure you use 18" long pieces of t-409 pipe also.

You want 'em real tight. However, don't overtighten them that you collapse the pipe and have a leak.

You should eventually get them welded.

I have vids in my photobucket some in the Tonka_vids folder and some in the regular gallery. I have them with an H-pipe 2.5" piping and the SLP LM1's with SLP 5" tips, then I have a vid with the maggy hiflow cats 2.25" piping X-pipe SLP LM1's and the SLP 5" shorty tips.
