deffinantly like the H-pipe better, it sounded meaner, less raspy

5.4Ls and 4.6Ls share the exact same exhaust, all 2.5"

4.2Ls are 2.25"

+1...kinda sounds like a tractor with the x.

I've always thought the 2v's sound better than the new 3v motors Ford's come out with - especially in the Mustang's case. 99-04 mustang gt

x2! That an the no lean risk issue of the 3v and the no noisey cam phaser issue, main thing I like about the previous generation.

Are you asking what size the single exhaust pipe is or the pipes coming from both sides of the engine. When I measured those pipes, it came up at 2.25, but I could be mistaken.

Yeah, I measured those pipes at 2.25 inch, and the new pipes that were welded on are 2.25. As far as I can remember, they match in size.

ok, im goin to ask a muffler shop for pipe that is the same size so hopefully they give me the right size, but thanks for letting me know.

those vids sound awesome. i like the H pipe better too which makes me happy bc i already have that. so basically id just have to pay for the mufflers and installation

ran slp loudmouths on my stang for about a week, and switched to gta's. they were too loud for my liking.
