Thats not what you said in an earlier response when you said "a NA engine needs backpressure.... guess these guys dont know that". The faster you get the exhaust out of the motor the better, right. Then why would someone want back pressure pushing the exhaust back towards the cylinders. Back pressure helps with emissions and thats about it. 2 strokes need back pressure in order to make power 4 strokes don't.

lmao.... backpressure helps close your valves bro. Bent valves are often found in engines with no backpressure. also you need back pressure to keep the exhaust from pulling good air/fuel mixture out the exhaust when the exhaust valve and intake valve are open at the same time

lemme ask this.. how old are you?

i had a si/do muffler it was installed right above the axle. the dual tips grew on me so i decided to cut them off and i went ahead and cut off the muffler to try out straight piped.
now i have the y pipe to a long pipe dumped w. a turndown right before the axle where the muffler was.
it sounds great is all i can say, the some may say its obnoxious but i love it,
and it absolutely SCREAMS at WOT !!!!!

You can do that to any truck.. of any make & model, but you will lose low end power. If you delete the muffler & run the tailpipe out it wont be a bad loss.
