which magnaflow

im looking at magnaflow part # 12599 dual in dual out, just wanting to know if this will work on my 97 f 150 5.4,instead of buying two maggies

It could, but why do you want 3" duals, you do realize that is overkill for a small block V8, 2.5" would be much healthier.

thanks for the info, i will get the 2.5" maggie then i'm looking for mandrel bent pipe kit so i can replace the 2.25" with 2.5" pipe with my di do muffler

2.25 is actually healthier than 2.5 on a N/A engine.

2.25 would choke it. I would step up to 2.5 at least.

EEEEHHH wrong!

2.25 inch true duals are much better for these Tritons, especially naturally aspirated, than 2.5 inch pipes. 2.5 is only needed when you have a large displacement V8 or forced induction. Without those, your low end suffers. Low end is much better with 2.25, I might possibly know.

He is correct. We have the same systems basically just different muffler lengths and size, I have 2.5" and my low end isn't that great, and got worse after putting 33s on.

thanks guys it pretty neat that i get the chance to talk to people who have some of the same likins in their truck as i do thanks again
