catalytic muffler?

Here is something I am curious about. What would our trucks sound with with 94106 hi flows and the stock muffler?

Anything that's installed on the underside of the truck can look original/stock after a number of years of being there and being exposed to the elements and debri. Especially trucks that are 10+ years old. Some hints: check the clamps if they all look the same then it maybe factory. If there is a splice(welded or clamped) in the intermediate pipe after the "y" then the muffler was removed. Some of the 97's came from the factory with the exhaust exiting in front of the passenger rear tire. A quick mod was to take the muffler and pipe out and replace with just a piece of pipe.
Look for mandrel bends these bends don't have crimping pressed look the pipe size is maintained throughout the bend, factory stock pipes usually have these.

The same as stock just a litte more air like sound. Probably close to a stock Silverado.

or the 2nd gen rams with about 100k on the factory muffler those sound nice stock i mistaked (is that a word?) my buddys dads 2500 hemi for a glasspack/no muffler and it was all stock :o
