exhaust advice

exhaust advice

im new to this website and just got my truck a few months ago. i have a 97 f150 4x4 and im looking for exhaust. any suggestions?

well..what kind of sound do you like...most everybody here will push you towards magnaflow...but get what you like...search youtube for options

i like flowmaster...i looked at videos and i like the super 44 series

then get the super 44. 3" SISO. either out the back 45 degrees behind rear tire with a 3.5" or 4" tip, or for louder tone, but more drone, in front of the rear tire. only get the stainless steel version though.

ill give a vote for the Super44. Good sound..not too loud, but loud enough to be heard. But def just youtube it for the sound thats best for you. Good luck.

just grab a super 44 the same size as your existing pipe, take it to an exhaust shop and have them swap mufflers

yeah im ganna buy the muffler seperate and bring it to a muffler shop to weld it on. i like the look in front the rear tire. i want a single tip should i go 3'' or 4''? thanks for the help guys!

As have been stated, get a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler and you will like the tone and sound.

Are you running all 4 stock cats? Cut the rear ones out, or replace the 4 with two hi-flows and you will change your mind on that.

I personally like my 3" gibson exhaust gives you a bad *** VWAAAT!!!! Bark when you increase the throttle a little good performance too but Gibson is Up there in price
