Eh, Cummins sound weird, too 'V6-ish'. I prefer gas engine sounds anyways otherwise i'd have a SD

A Cummins sounds nothing like a v6. The 12 valve motor is the best sounding pick up diesel IMO.

i like the 24v better a guy i shoot guns with has a 3500 6 speed with a straight pipe..sounds good!! to me that is, but, im the guy that likes chambered mufflers

international motors in the SD's are crap (minus 7.3) and chevrolet duramax...they are good..just dont like the model of truck they sit in

I agree, although my Bosses 6.0 has been great. Nothing beats the 7.3 reliablity.

Cummins still sound stupid. My opinion, end of story, a real diesel is a PSD sound.

Too loud and crackly (maybe that is what you are going for though)...would sound way better with a magnaflow.

umm..to me they all sound the same...the 7.3 was the most reliable PSD made..if you dont take care of it, dont expect much! my grandads 97 had 408k miles on it and still ran strong..cuz he took care of it

im still not sure about the new ford diesel...i think they will make a good one..but who knows
