Exhaust break in?

I have a FlowMaster on my truck and have about 15,000 miles on it. It's just a SI/DO. I think around 1000-1500 miles was when it got it's loudest and has been that way since.

it took my bullet about 700 miles to fully break in. now it just roars.

I'm kind of disapointed in my Flow Master. I listened to videos of other Windsors with the Flow Master 40 and they sounded good and loud. Mine isn't loud at all, I can hear my engine over the exhaust most of the time.
