I just ordered a set of longtubes and hi flo cats about an hour ago so when those come in we will see what happens.
wow. When it comes to the money you dont F around

That should wake it up and louden it. Good luck getting it installed.

dynatech longtubes and hiflo cats hopefully going on tomorrow. Got really busy at work so its going to an exhaust shop down the street my boss is friends with to get put on. Much rather throw it on myself after work one night but thats not going to happen anytime soon and im too damn impatient.

however i must say it has gotten louder over the past week, and it sounds awesome on a cold start, but warm its not enough, but its definetely noticable now. I ordered it from summits site and it says corsa but apparently its a db exhaust which is corsas truck line. that might explain the sound difference but it sounds nothing like the f150 on their site unless their mic is inside the actual muffler, and if the headers and cats dont get loud enough ill call corsa and get them to send me something loud.

ill try to get a sound clip, but i dont have anything good to take one with so well see.

and yes i know my grammar sucks and i cant make paragraphs, thanks.

If I put on the corsa kit then later on down the road wanted to change it, could I just change the muffler to borla with out changing the pipes? And visa versa?

Yes its simple, just make sure you know the exact overall length of the Borla you plan to put on because if its shorter you will need some scrap straight pipe in your current size to mate it up to ( make it up at the intermediate pipe so you only need to make 1 pipe longer ).

got the headers on tonight. need to get an o2 sensor since the rear drivers decided to leave the threads inside the old cat, but whatever. definitely got a whole hell of alot louder now. still dead quiet inside while cruising or when the converter is locked but its way loud when you get on it now, actually quite a bit louder than i expected, but that works for me. it was also snowing tonight so i got to make alot of noise. Ill try to get sound clips as soon as i can find someone to stand on the side of the road with a camera. very pleased with how it turned out, which is good considering how much money i have in the stupid exhaust now. pretty sure the neighbors are going to hate me now.

If the neighbors dont hate you, then your exhaust is a fail.

well i like my next door neighbor all the other ones can go to hell. but if they say anything to me ill mention the shelf that fell off the wall thanks to their christmas present surround sound system. The HOA president is a whiny little ***** that will probably whine but cant do anything about it like when he told me i had to pull my bumper stickers off because they were offensive, that sure didnt go over well, and i still have them. thankfully ill be out of here in 6 months or so.

and one more thing, if you are thinking about doing longtubes with jacks and jackstands, do yourself a favor and DONT.

I didn't know anyone needed to use stands and a jack for headers, except for jacking the passenger side of the engine up to clear and allow the header to fit.

im sure it can be done on the ground, just like im sure it can be done on jackstands. no amount of money would get me to do one not on a lift though.
