ordering my exhaust

ok i am getting the cherrybomb extreme 3 si 2.5 do i am getting a 3 inch pipe to go from the y. do i need a different y pipe? or can i just stick with the one o got and just cut it before it gets too small. or what should i do?

Add the 3" pipe at the end of the y.

I installed my cherrybomb yesterday and it was a PITA but we got it welded up and mount. It sounds ****ing awesome exactly what i wanted. I left the end of the muffler open cuz i cant dump it over the axles by myself. I am going to take it to a shop for that cuz its a little obnoxious in the cab. I will try and get some videos but I definately recommend the cheap *** cherry bomb extreme.

^ Better put on a tip after you run over the axle. If you don't it won't be near as deep and rumbly as it is now, but it will still be quieter inside

lose oem y pipe- where driver's side merges into passegnger portion of y-poor design extends 3/4" into opposing gas flow-i see if i can dig up pic of my oem somewhere

have u seen the inside of a factory 5.4 oem y?zero thought process or quality control,unless you truly understand velocity and static pressures,i guess it wouldn't b worth it

It does make a difference when you have a load in the bed or are pulling a few thousand pounds. Thats where I notice where the 2.5" duals was a mistake.

yep, when i load down a trailer and it barely moves just makes alot of noise im like damn it!!!!

yep, me and a guy i know (2007 5.3 4 door with 24"s) raced the other day and he took me off the line (i dont think his is stock) and after i hit second i left his ***!
