Corsa Touring Exhaust. No drone but is it too quiet

Does anyone run the 14306 kit (2006 F150, 5.4, 6.6' box). It is the Touring version that is supposed to be quiet. If you have a soundclip please let me know.

Thanks

I've got one on my '07 Harley Supercrew. No drone at all, but you'll know it's there. Nice, mellow tone. Sorry, no clip. - Og

Remove your stock cats and replace with 2 high flows. Or just remove the rears and replace with pipe. You will hear a 40% sound increase.

was considering the touring or the sport myself. just ordered #14376 kit yesterday. it is the sport exhaust with dual rear exit. now i have to decide when it arrives next week if i want to install now or wait till spring. with all the snow on the bottom of my truck and how cold it is it could be a while before i can crawl under it.

I think I will opt for the Sport. Now do I go for the single hydroformed tip or the dual 4" tips. I need to be more decisive!!

dual!! myself i don't care for the widemouth tip. but that's my opinion. don't think it would look good on a truck.

If you are looking at a Corsa exhaust system, they have a new one out for trucks. There is a sound clip there.

I was looking at the DB, but apparently they are using 400 series stainless as opposed to 300. Lot of salt use in my area so I prefer the higher grade stainless.

It wont rust it completely out, 409 stainless will only get surface pitted from stone nicks and such. It will not rust out by spring time.

I'm gunshy on rusting exhausts. I went through 2 Flowmaster systems in as many years. They replaced the tailpipes on warranty the first time and this time they sent me a complete system in the box which I am hopefully going to sell to someone where salt is not used on the roads. Maybe 304 is overkill, but I am tired of paying labour every 12 months to remove a rusty exhaust and install a new one.

Touring with twin tips on a 6.5' bed here... it is a deep rumble, compared to others it is quieter (relative term), until you drop the throttle on it. WOT it is not quiet by any means...

I'd go with the twin tips personally, they look friggin awesome!!
