yea you have to have 2 plates in texas....yea there are a few emissions countys here..im about 2 hours away from the closest one

yea your in Houston right? they are BIG on emissions there since its so nasty down there

I'd assume a cat from a similar year truck would work just as good as the ones on there now. So pulling one from a junkyard probably wouldn't be a problem, just have it welded up, and it'd be way cheaper. As for emissions tests, move to SC, we don't have any of that crap.

That's not what I've heard about FL. I always hear stories of people getting pulled over for lame/BS type things there. GA, on the other hand, either doesn't car or loves loud cars like we do!

cut them out.

buy some cheap aftermarket cats for inspection and clamp them in.

take em off and clamp in straight pipe.

Well DOT and FHP aren't too fond of it! Just stay off of the interstate!

It is very possible that I was referring more to the political side of California

"429 boss mustan" has a 04 and he is gettin after market cats and offered me his old ones. Would they fit and work the same? Mine is a 98.
