how were your flanges? mine definitely werent flat had to mill them down. fit great other than that. that starter is NOT fun.

The starter was a learning curve. Now that I have done it, I could probably do the install in about half the time.

Thats about right! and I would do it again..... more like I will be as soon as the pacesetters rust out I give them one more year!

Did you use the gaskets that came with the kit or something else. Jack (Huitt24) found that the best sealing gaskets were the factory manifold gaskets. That's what I used on my truck and it's been 2 years and no leaks!

I used the ones that came with it. They're the same except there's 3 layers instead of one.

i re-used the factory gaskets when i did mine. they are much better quality then what was sent to me. metal vs cork gaskets. its been a year for me and no problems at all.

Cork!!! OMG. The dynotech ones are metal like the factory ones but three layers instead of one.

exactly! thats why i used the factory ones. i still think the best sealing are the factory gaskets.
