Magnaflow race series.

Hey guys just had a few questions about the magnaflow race series mufflers. I saw a video on here with the muffler on a Raptor and really like the sound of it. Is it possible for this muffler to work on my 05 5.4 or are these mufflers not for our standard motors? If the muffler is possible to work on our trucks what size body should I get. Im not really sure in that category. I do know I want to stay with the 2.5in. inlet/outlet tho. Any help is appreciated guys! Thanks.
-Mike!

Any muffler can work on these trucks. Do you want to keep it SISO, or do you want to upgrade to true duals?

There are a few sizes of race mufflers, either the 14148 or the 14158 is what was on the Raptor.

Oh ok awesome. I just wasn't sure if those mufflers were for like high performance motors or something. I have been considering going to true duals but not 100% sure yet.

At a price of $115 per Magnaflow race muffler, it will be costly to true dual, but it would definitely sound awesome. Go for it, or even for the single!

Yea I figured if I'm going to do true dual I will probably go with the dynomax bullets. But for the si/so I will give the magnaflow race series a shot. I have $150 of credit at my offroad shop so I might use it towards the muffler. I just don't know where im going to have it exit cause i love the look of my dual side exit with my ROR but i don't think i would like a single exit too well. Maybe just dump it or something. what do you guys think.

Very nice! When are you installing it? You have to post some pics and vids after install!

I would just keep the ROR tailpipes, and have the exhaust shop mate a 2.5" in/out Magnaflow race muffler to a 2.5" to dual 2.25" Y pipe, good race series sound, and dual tails

Well I have the dual side exit. Not the rear exit. Do you still think it could be fabed up to exit the side like it is now? Cause I really like where it exits right now.

Easy, easy, and, easy. Just do that Y pipe work. Grab a $20 buck Magnaflow Y pipe 2.5" single 2.25" dual and have the shop do the work.

If you decide to sell your Roush Off-Road muffler, start in the classifieds, Guaranteed you will peak alot of interest and can get at least $150+ for it.
