maybe but I really don't want to risk it. just have inspections here but it will really be illegal with hi flows since it came from the factory with four cats

^ Ah... well it would still sound awesome with LT's and hi flows then. Right now though I think I would pick bullets with stockers.

I wonder if mine will break in a little more or not... They looked really new when I got them.

I'd say ya, I think it took Darren's more than 6k to fully break in. I bet they will get alot louder.

Its possible, without cats, your exhaust is handling a hell of alot more heat than a system with them. You bought the mufflers used? If they didn't look real black inside when you got them then they should have more break in time. Mine didn't change noticeably until after 6,000 some miles burned in. Ever since 10k miles it hasn't changed tone at all, though after getting 33s the stress to move the body more increased exhaust note a little since it takes about one hundred more rpms in most senarios. Currently have 22k miles burned through it.

I got an email back from him today. He said his friend bough them new and had them for only 3 months. He said he mostly only drove to work and back which is only 3 miles away. So, ya, I think they still have some break in...

So far, I like it. Hopefully it gets louder down the road.

^ Agreed, I love the deep toned growl to them, but I could go for a little more throaty sound as well!

Definitely need some break in time. Any idea what vehicle ran them before? Eh, either way your exhaust throws a hell of alot more heat. Not sure if Borla wraps their mufflers as tightly as Magnaflow does, if lighter, they'll break in sooner than 6k
