def a good start. you'll be happy then choose what intake you want if you still do later on. you'll feel the diff with the edge.

That's what I've got. Got it from ebay. It's a genuine JET Performance Chip claiming 30HP. He said module- so I took a guess.

either way, $15. i would be afraid to put anything like that to control my truck. you get what you pay for. could it be a fake.

i hear jet sucks anyway. never used them. just programmers.

Good morning! How are you today? I am fine myself, thanks!

Just FYI, but all is not lost & it's never too late!

As was said, please take it easy with the Edge and this intake. You will likely, on occasion, find the PCM pulling timing in high ambient conditions, under certain loads. You could even monitor & log this behaviour with the Edge if you wished.

Bests & Cheers!

I really don't like MGDfan 2.1. Revert back to 1.0!

Good morning, Mr. Punisher, sir!

With all due respect, may I inquire as to why?

I am just trying to be a better person (but not always suceeding); singing "All you need is Love" appears less stressful on everyone as opposed to George Thorogood's "Killer's BLuze"

We have had differences before - I hope we can mend those fences.

Cheers

? i have a 1997 f150 its not a race car. im going to have to see how much hotter the IAT's actually get to, im planing on making an aluminum ram air box and getting a nice hood scoop. will that keep my IAT's higher too?

that will help while driving but if not sealed from the engine's heat your iat's will still rise at stoplights.

catch 22 situation, aluminum disipates heats fast, BUT, also absorbs heat fast- fyi- a true ram air system will throw proper air fuel ratios off .
