That doesn't sound bad... but it would sound better with a 3.5" tip!

you need to extend the piping out from under the truck. Put it out the side before the rear tire, out the back, or even dump it OVER the axle. Any of those options will allow you to hear the true tone of the muffler.

I agree with these guys, get a 3.5" or 4" tip and run it out the side. You would be surprised but it makes a huge difference.

Thanks frog, but its really not what I was expecting. If it doesn't get much louder I'm going with the true dual set up with high flows. (which i probably should have done in the first place).lol. Oh well.

So what kind of tip do you recommend then? I don't really want the tip to show that's why i dumped it in the first place. Should i just extend it over the axle and dump it again but with a tip?

Dumping it over the axle with a tip will make it louder outside and quieter inside, but i would honestly recommend putting it out the side before the rear tire with a 3.5 or 4" tip. With that setup, the exhaust will be the loudest and sound the best. Just know that there will be drone. But if your really set on not seeing any tips, then dump it over the axle with a tip. Also high flow cats will really make it roar.

Nothing will be loud with stock cats. To be honest, I really don't like it either.

Ok. I do like putting it out the side before the rear tire. That's how much Roush was. I just don't konw if I will like the single tip out the side like that. I don't mind drone cause my Roush had a pretty good drone to it. And I will be getting high flow cats when i get my tax return!

If you want dual tips out the side just get a Y-pipe and your set.

You can put a dual tip on there, and not need a Y pipe. but i would get a double walled tip for added durability. Single tips as well i would go with double walled.

I'm glad you can take criticism, a lot of the members here are really thin skinned.

Like everyone has said, have a side exit and a good sized tip installed and it should sound a lot better.
