Thinking of going true duals....

Alright guys like some of you know I just got rid of my ROR side exit and replaced it with a Magnaflow Race series muffler. Well I'm not really liking it too much so In a couple weeks when I get my tax return I was thinking of going to a true dual set up. And I am for sure going to get some maggy high flows and x-pipe it. My main question is how do you guys think it would sound if I true dualed it with another Magnaflow Race series muffler? I'm really considering doing that or going the bullet route. Whats your guys opinions?
Thanks in advance.
-Mike!

I would be different and go dual magnaflow race series. That, with high flows will be a dope setup!

In time that Magnaflow will break in more. If true dualed, it would have more rumble, especially at WOT, very loud yet still deep. If you can afford to buy another, go for it. It would sure perform better in the high rpm range.

Yea I figured it will break in with time. I didn't have to pay anything for the muffler I have now because I had store credit at my offroad shop so I technically only have to buy one. I hope to be able to get this done in a month or so. Do you guys think I'll have to get my custom tune changed after the switch?

Not really, but it would be a good idea. Bill Cohron of PHP did my tuning and he does something with true dual applications, adding more fuel and adjusting the timing, possibly adjusting spark, some things of that nature is my guess, because the duals sure do sound alot better/louder after going from the factory tune to the custom tune.

Maybe I'll shoot bill and Corey a couple questions next week about it. Bill did great on my custom tunes that he made for my old setup.

Us Gryphon guys, http://gopowerhungry.com/

We like the Gryphon because its basically a custom tuned edge. You get all of the Edge features, displays, custom tuned for your truck only. Much better than a plug in and tune and take out device.
