questions?????

ok so i know this has probally ben poted before but i cant find anything on it. i want to make my 08 louder, i also dont want to have to spend a bunch of money. i was thinking that i could just remove the muffler install a straight pipe in its place and leave everything else. is that posible? will the truck ending up throwing codes at me? if anyone can tell me of an exhaust setup that was cheap and sounds good it would be great. any help is greatly appreciated.

Replace stock muffler with a dynomax bullet if you like the straight pipe sound, but prefer it to sound deeper and more controlled.

Unless you're 18, simply hacking off the factory muffler pretty much sounds like crap. I'd spring for at least some kind of muffler for it.....

Dynomax bullet... period! There are similar mufflers, but for the price... Bullet is by far your best bang for your buck.

x2 Can't beat it. Sounds awesome and is only $40 from Summit.

I reworked my exhaust to run out the side, but you can just replace your muffler with a Bullet and a piece of pipe to connect it to your existing tailpipe. BTW if you get a Bullet, get the 12" not the 18".
