CAI info

well i want to buy a CAI but noy sure witch to buy is the K&N really worth the money or will i get the same result from the VOLANT intake its about a $100 difference

Why do you want one? Eye candy, drone, or loud sucking noise?

If you have a 5.4L you really need to get a tuner to prevent CELs (lean conditions).

I have a S&B CAI and it Really woke up the 5.4...I am glad I Bought it...Worth Every Dollar.
I bought it from Auto Anything.
BTW what size Motor you have...

or if you wanna do it on the cheap remove silencer and do the gotts mod 3" intake that looks stock. sleeper lol. nm that s 09

I have the 5.4 and an AEM Brute Force. I love it. It added a little power, plus it sounds and looks awesome.

I don't know much about the Volant intake. I orginally was looking at K&N, but then started looking at AEM and AFE because they used dry filters.

I paid $80 for my ebay special with a K&N filter... no complaints.
