Removed 'air silencer' Need Help

I have the day off today and I decided to remove the tube that runs through the elbow on my intake. I wound up dremeling it out. Here is my problem, I accidentally dremeled a small hole in the elbow. What is the best way to seal it back up? Right now I have it wrapped in electrical tape. Truck runs fine no engine light or anything. But I know that this can't be a permanent solution. On the plus side, the pedal feels a little peppier, and wow it was a PITA to get all the little plastic shavings outta there. Any help is appreciated

it wont be pretty but i would probably use epoxy and a small piece of plastic to cover the hole, then use some silicone over it to make sure its sealed tight.

and yes an unmetered air leak will cause a lean condition
