Very informative posts there. It sound like you can run those CAI's with an '04-'05 without problems. Personally I would still run a custom tune to get the most out of the CAI but that's all up to the end user. Thanks for the post MGD!

 

perhaps im retarded, it wouldnt be out of the question, but

if an engine is running lean, and you give it more air, it would make it run richer. this makes sense to me. how could more air make it run leaner

 

AFR is the mass ratio of air to fuel present during combustion

Too much air = lean (by definition)

More air = leaner

 

duh, runnin rich is more fuel than air. i knew that. my brain is just slow
