Paper weight or door stop is about all they are good for.

its been dyno proven over and over that they do nothing for a port fuel injected engine.

I watched Horsepower on Spike a couple of days ago. Even on a carbed engine, TB spacers didn't do anything. They are a waste of money, not matter what type of engine you have.

Sometimes you have to watch out about those shows....

I have personally seen carb spacers work on an engine dyno(I used to temp/part timer at a engine/machine shop for while). Each 2" spacer increased hp by around 7. We stacked up to 5 2" spacers and gained nearly 35hp doing this. Somewhere I got some pictures...

And no I'm not b'sing this time.

BTW to the OP...

DO IT! Those things add madddddd horsepower. I had one on my truck before I put the blower on. I took it off for the blower install, and I'll be damned if I didn't notice any difference between the blower and Throttle Body Spacer! Don't waste your money on any other mod, through a TB spacer on a stock truck and go!

i just pulled one off my f150 about a mth ago.. i was reading alot of post doggin them, took me 3 mins to get out and put back together... you can hear the difference in the sound at startup/idle as well..

i'm sorry to disagree.. but i felt a difference in throttle response and midrange.... i've owned two trucks, gmc 4.8 (tricked), and this ford 4x4, and that was the first mod i did to both.. ...

I'm sure every manufacturer missed this tiny little secret when their engineers came up with their designs. [/sarcasm]
File the TB spacer under the same spot as the tornado.
