Magnaflow exhaust tips.

I wanted to know.. Ive been checking out exhaust tips, does putting one on make a noticeable difference in sound?, i know it will with a mag muffler.., does it affect gas mileage at all?

I think the tips has about as much change in the Gas mileage as hanging fuzzy dice in the mirror its just for looks, it will make your exhaust a little deepy but in my oppinion it would sound better dumped

Larger diameter tips may help the sound to "echo" a bit more, but it's not anything that you would notice or want to judge your purchase on, strictly for looks. And exhaust tips won't do crap for your mpg

So your just running a leveling kit and those tires.. are close to 35's?? Rub at all?

No mpg change, waiste of money...if your gonna change the exhaust, change the exhaust.

If your just looking for sound cut the pipe off before your rear cats and put a down pipe in.

Needless to say..doing either is a waiste of time & money.

They're not close to 35s, they're 33s. And they rubbed before I trimmed a notch out of the valance and massaged the inner fender well a bit
