gutted cats failed emissions (high flow cat?)
i gutted all 4 cats on my 01 f-150 i then had my exhaust done cat back its dual 2.5 into dual inlet dual outlet muffler
i now went to get emissions and failed barely over the limits but failed none the less so i registered my truck at my friends house which is in a different county no emissions but they said they are going to state wide emissions so eventually i will have to pass them and also i might not keep my truck registered there for long because i guess i can get a 500$ fine for not having my drivers lisence match my insurance or my registration.
my main question is has anyone failed with high flow cats?
and which high flow cats to get?
would like to go cheap because ive spent a lot on exhaust already.
also has anyone found a way to pass with no cats?
i dont want to change the sound i really like it also like the performance it really seems to run a lot better.
any input on what cats to get would be much appreciated.
