Adding Y-pipe to 3inch SI/SO=SI/DO?

That's what I was thinking. I'm still new to the exhaust game, but it seems like leaving the factory Y and adding high flow cats would almost be a waste of money. The Maggie Y is less than $30, and would really let the high flows work their magic.
