Flowmaster I think.... hah

Ok folks.. After lots of reading. I think I am going to go with a super 44 Singlin In - Dual Out.. I was also looking at the flowmaster Cat bac for my f150.. I know other mufflers have a slight performance, but I'm still stuck on that sound. I have a 4.6L 2010 Super Cab 4x4.

Just got my trailer hitch & seven pin connectors installed so.. im itching for my muffler

I havnt priced around yet, but do you think it would be cheaper to buy the muffler & get the shop to do the rest?

What sizes do I need in terms of piping & what lengths/sizes should i get for tipss??

Of coarse!

The muffler you will want is the part #9430452 Super 44, or, for $10 more, get the stainless steel version part #8430452. Run 2.5" tailpipes smooth bent or mandrel if you can get them done, and 3.5" outlet or 4" outlet x 18" long tips. Choices to run them before passenger rear tire, after rear wheels on same side, split behind back 45'd, or the boring straight out look.

Does Flowmaster even have the Super 44 in a catback system for the 2010? Doesn't the Force II have a 50 series and the American Thunder have the 40 Delta?

The super44 sounds nice...used to have it, I sure miss the way it screamed when passing people. I don't miss the drone though.

More of the "boring straight back look" here. I got my Super 44 with 2.5" tailpipes installed for $320. Rather than have the exits hugging the hitch like you normally see, I asked him to run slash cut tips wide (like some ol' 5.0 tailpipes). It's not for everyone...but I dig it! Of course, my trip to Moab bent one of them up pretty good so some big, shiny tips will be on there soon.

I have a Super 44 on a liberty 3.7, when i was single... Now I have a gf & kid.. & eventually another one.. So I am wondering about the drone now inside the cab. It doesnt bother me but the gf & the young ones... Hmmm

Thx for the images I do like the straight back tho, but darren that look is nice... i have a while yet before I get it so, there is lots of time to ponder..

Darren you got a pic from the side with those pipes?
