Manifold Leak

Hi,

I have a manifold leak on the back of the passenger manifold gasket. It was not that bad at first but over the last two weeks is quite noticeable, but goes away slightly once warmed up. I am planning on putting on some OBX LT's with new gaskets and studs, but have a trip planned before that. I will be putting on around 1500 miles towing a 17.5' Lund boat, and am wondering if I run the risk of doing any more damage? Thanks.

It'll be fine, but fix it soon cause its gotta be embarrassing and makes Ford look bad, new stock manifold gaskets and LTs.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies and re-assurance, and yes my truck sounds like an old beat up farm truck right now.

The sound is nasty. A friend of mine has let his leak for 3 years now. I won't even ride in his truck. Get the stainless heat treated studs when you fix. The problem is the studs corrode and break. The more studs that break, the more that may need to be extracted....the more expensive it gets.
