Nonexistent. "Loud" on a V6 usually translates to "ricer". I would leave it stock so you don't have to force people to endure the sound of a V6.

Little, if anything sounds "good" on the V6, and "loud" gets annoying REAL quickly. Trust me, I owned a V6 F150 with exhaust work, and loud and good sounding really do not go together. The only exhaust that really sounded good to me was a single in/single out (it pains me to say it) Flowmaster 40 series that replaced the stock muffler. I also had dual glasspacks at one time, and they lasted all of 6 months before the noise annoyed me enough to torch them off.

Take a look at youtube videos, you might find what you are looking for there.

straight pipe, single chamber flowmaster, cherrybomb extreme, bullet. that would be your best bet for being loud. SI/SO would probably be your best bet.

We're trying to save him some trouble in the future. Some people get enraged and break things when they hear a V6 with an aftermarket exhaust.

Just unbolt the exhaust piping from the manifolds if you want the loudest possible.

saying you wont get it to sound good is just plain stupid, because yes; you can make it sound good.

loud, however, is difficult. you're going to be getting into header work, cat work, larger diameter piping, etc if you want it to be louder. honestly, flowmaster 40 or 50 series SI/SO dumped before the axle. the turndown will amplify it decently. ive heard flowmaster 10's on a 08 4.2 with an accufab plenum and cold air intake, his sounded pretty decent and was really loud

I hate turndowns/dumps. But on a V6, they are the way to go. Dump over the axle would be my choice though. Super 44, super 40, super 10, or cherry bomb extremes are the only ones that will make a 6 sound good. (I had a CBM on my 4.0L Explorer dumped over the axle)
