OBX longtube system

Has anyone tried the OBX long tube header kit that comes with cats and O2 bungs? They are listed on Ebay for $499 plus shipping. What would the pros and cons of a premade system like that be? Thank you in advance for any input.

ok so skip that. It seems to be a 2 in to 1 system anyway, not duals.

I would suggest pacesetter LT headers for a true dual set up. They have the o2 bungs on the collector not the Y pipe like most of the the other higher priced systems.

I recently purchased the OBX Long Tube header system for the 2004-2008 5.4 4x4 version
The hardest part about the install was removing all the stock components, the headers fit directly onto the stock block without any problem what so ever.
Im running the resonated version with 3 bungs on each side. I skipped the y pipe and im running a dual exhaust with x pipe and dynomax bullets and 4" tips.

Open headers sounds absolutely awesome although no way legal here.

Back to the question: the bungs work great with the sensors, direct fit with some extensions on my truck. I suggest modding your y pipe for a dual setup to keep the bung or just weld a bung in when you run your exhaust where the y pipe bung would have been.

O2 setup is as follows:
Driver Side: o2 sensor, plugged o2 bung, o2 sensor (cross over pipe)
Passenger Side: 02 sensor, plugged o2 bung, o2 sensor (y pipe)

check out sparktecmotorsports for headers
purchased them for my 08 fx4 5.4 for 500 shipped w/tax

Trying to get a camera good enough to record the sound this 5.4 is capable of...open headers sounded like a v8 speedboat or a hot rod, but louder!

Nice and tame with the 18" mufflers, sometimes i wonder if i should have gone to the 12" but i dont think ill change anything exhaust wise for the life of the truck, she sounds amazing!

video:

thats all i can say...will try to get one up soon

look at the Lightning/Harley truck set up (the mid pipe is for 2.5 inch duals)

sparktechmotorsports sells 'em for $475 plus shipping (for the resonator mid pipes, the catted systems are more)
