Wanna get loud without voiding mah warranty

Whats up guys, new here and I've got a 2007 5.4L FX2. In black, of course.

Anyways, it sounds good but i want it to sound gooder. It still has the warranty, so no cat-deletes or any other mods to void the warranty. Any suggestions for making it louder and throatier? Gracias!

You can throw glass packs on it (i personally don't like them) But I have Cherry Bomb mufflers on my truck and love it, sounds perfect! I too am under warranty so i can't delete my cats either. But i'm out of warranty in about 10k miles. So whenever thats up i'm gonna do the same exhaust that FATHERFORD has with the exception of the Dump after the axle. Here are the specs of what he's running. May run a different muffler than Magnaflow but haven't decided yet.

OBX long tubes
OBX Resonators
true dual 2.5"
Magnaflow dual in/out 18" muffler

Get a Dynomax Bullet. I'm still under warranty and this is what I have. Sounds loud, deep and clear, no crackling.

dynomax bullet. either simple muffler swap (2.5") or upgrade your piping to 3" and run a 3" bullet.

Mig, every time I see you rep the Bullet, you suggest the 3". Is it that much better than 2.5"?

I will always spend the extra money to upsize the pipe. I know there is a sound difference between the 2 for sure.

Correct me if I am wrong but Cat work only voids the exhaust portion of the warranty? If I am wrong then I hope my truck doesn't screw up cause I got a 6yr/100,000 mile warranty that I voided.

I was told if you touch ANYTHING from the Y pipe and forward your exhaust warranty is gone. But to be honest who cares. If anything goes wrong an an exhaust, fix it with better and healthier parts. Its a win win IMO

i can see the people at ford saying that if your cats were deleted that the different O2 sensor readings will have an effect on your computer's fuel delivery maps and could void your powertrain warranty somehow. i've got no reason to get rid of the cats anyway, we have emissions testing here.

The converters & up is what will void exhaust warranty only. But who cares, no one keeps a stock exhaust.

those dynomax mufflers are a great price, i can deal with those. i haven't looked at the exhaust pipes yet so i don't know what's welded and what's clamped and what ends where.
what did you have to do to get the bullet in? sawzall the old one off? clamp or weld the new one in? can the original exhaust tip be clamped to the other side of the bullet muffler?

Just swap the muffler out for a bullet and add a nice tip.
